Default Old Bow String

Hi guys im new here with a question, I have had my string on my bow for a few years now and always shot tight groups, now this year I cant seem to keep a grouping close.....could that be due to overstretch in my string over the years?

There is your answer.

I change my strings and cables atleast once a year depending on the amount of shooting I do with each bow.

My hunting bow gets a new string and cable once a year and my target bow (because it gets the most work) I change the string and cables twice a year.

If you want to get a top notch string and cable then get in touch with gibblet here on the forum his strings are second to none and at a very reasonable price.

Strings will loose there elasticity over time then start to deteriorate. I would suggest a new string at least every 2 to 3 years.
