Default blazer vanes

do the Balzers come in 2 sizes (specifically witdth)? Muy buddy seems to think that his are "thicker" and the "thinner" ones are more for target shooting. I have noticed only one size in Cabelas & Bass Pro. Any help would be appreciated.

not sure on width, but they do indeed have 2 models of blazers. they have the 2 inch version which i also seen called broadhead vanes, and a 1.5inch version which in the description says its made with the target shooter in mind.....not sure if their width changes or not. i think the 2 inch blazers are .6 inches thick?

Other than length, they are indeed the same. Don't use those small ones for BH's......

It's amazing what people can come up with or be told and pass it on.

Doughboy, you can go and tell your friend that he is incorrect and you have the right information.

I once had a guy argue with me that he was going to buy some 75 grain Muzzy mechanicals. I told him Muzzy doesn't make a mechanical. He as adamant that the shop owner he frequented sold them. I knew the shop owner and he's a joke (I kept that to myself) and said, when you buy them give me a call I'd like to see them. He never called.

There are blazers and blazer mini's. The Blazers are 2" long and 9/16's high, the minis are 1.5" long and 1/2" high. I use the minis on pro 22's that I use for open class 3D.
