I bought some luminecent paint to paint stars, letters, numbers, shapes, and of course a buck, on my 3 year-old boy's ceiling. I started to think of other applications for this paint and thought that it would work well on an arrow shaft between the vanes or on the nockas an aid to finding the arrow after the shot. Has anyone ever tried this? Results?
Last year I painted some carbon shafts with Duplicolor Illuminite. They are neon blue when they glow in the dark, tan color in daylight. last for 6 to 8 hours.
Cool, my paint is a chartruse color. I might try painting the last 4-5 inches of the shaft and see if it aids in arrow recovery. I'm not sure how it will work covered with blood...Let's hope I get the chance to find out.
