Default Proper arrow spine?

Ishoot a PSE bow that was set at 72 #, with a 28 1/2 inch draw, carbon express 400 's. I have had to tune the bow back to 55 # for a while. Is my spine likely to be too much, or should I still be o.k.

Your arrows are WAY over spined! At 55 lbs. you should be shooting 200's!

How do they shoot? Better overspined than under spined. If they areshooting good use them. Your bow will shoot quieter with an overspined arrow usually too. HCH

What PSE bow, it makes a big difference. Age, model and cam type or name would help.

If you know how fast it will shoot a specific weight arrow it would help as well.

Default RE: Proper arrow spine?

I am shooting a PSE Firestorm Lite, rated at 300 IBO. I was shooting 72 lbs., with a 28 1/2 inch draw, Blazer vains, muzzy 3 blade 100 gr., through a Whisker Biscuit, Cronyed out at 256 fps. We dropped it back to 55 lbs. and it is shooting 230 fps. Does that information help more.????
