Starting a fight: Couldn't find a Bow Tech

Before I purchased my BK II I was looking @ some Mathews bows. I thought they were fine but I liked the BT better.

Yesterday I was poking around on eBay, & did a search on bows for sale, not one Bow Tech could be found, over 100 Mathews for sale. At 1st I thought it was because Mathews has been around so long but most of these bows were new, & stated as such, ***NEW 02 Legacy****

I think they found out about the new DC Pat, or the BK II.

Guess I made the right choice. Just promoting BT because I am sooo happy with my purchase. [}

I love my bowtech too, but try and search using bowtech you will about 8 or so.

I've been watching E-Bay also for a long time and since they came out, I've seen Legacy's for sale. A lot of them were advertised as new in the box or shot only a few times. I've also seen Patriots for sale but not even close to the numbers I've seen for Mathews. What I don't understand is why anyone would pay almost new price for a used bow without a warranty instead of going to a shop and getting one to fit perfectly and with a warranty. A used Patriot for $425.00 IMO would be a great buy but if you get up within $150.00 of new price on any bow, it would be best to buy new.

I shoot a Mathews Legacy and I love it. That said I think that many of the folks that buy a Mathews expect a bow with so much speed that your arrows catch fire...LOL. Mathews is a fine hunting bow just not the fastest. I believe that Bowtech is now making the claim that it is the fastest and it well may be. The folks selling all those Mathews bows will probably by Bowtechs. When a faster bow comes out they will sell the Bowtechs to buy the newer faster bow. These folks just want the fastest "badest" bow available. I think that this is absolutely wonderful as while they are rerigging and sighting in I am hunting...LOL.

I will most likly sell my Patriot for what might be the 2nd fastest bow on the planet next year. I will only be selling it out of neccesity(sp). But the bow I will be buying is another Patriot but this one will have one more cam on it. So I guess I fit in the description of the types of people in the earlier post.

Well, since it will have one more cam I'd be willing to bet it will also have one less idler wheel too...LOL...

BTS you mean you havn't seen the pic from BT R&D!!!!! Man the bow looks awesome, I have never seen anything like it, it is a bow with three limbs, the limbs on the top and middle have a BK cam on each and the limb on bottom has a recurve look to it with an idler wheel<img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>.
