Default Spine re: draw weight

A couple of years back I bought a new bow with a draw weight of 58lbs. My arrow length is 31". I switched to carbon arrows with I got the new bow but find that I have a bunch of Easton XX75 aluminum arrows I used with my old bow. These arrows are 2117 and don't seem to fly badly but they fall out of the recommended spine for this draw weight. I want to use these arrows if possible.
My skills haven't come back to where they were when I did a great deal of shooting so I'm not sure if the difference in arrow flight is the arrow or me.
What, if anything, am I sacrificing with these arrows? Is it arrow speed or accuracy

If they are heavier, you are losing speed for sure. If they are really off on spine you will lose forgiveness, which will effect your accuracy.

If you can answer some questions for me I can give you a better response.

What kind of bow, your AMO draw length with that bow, the Peak weight it draws ( what it is capable of, but what it is set at right now measured by a scale), what length the arrows, what tip weight you are using. And if you know it, what speed it will shoot with a particular weight arrow. Doesn't have to be the arrow you are using right now, just a speed and the weight of the arrow used. This will let my figure the effeciency of the bow and make the spine selection more accurate.

Also what do you want to do with the bow? Are you going to hunt with the fixed blade broad heads, compete in target archery of some form, or just play around in the back yard and or a range? A hunting set up will be more critical of tuning and proper arrow spine, then target archery and least critical would be casual target shooting. For target or casual shooting if you have good form just about any arrow will hit where you aim it. However the proper arrow will do it more consistantly and be more forgiving of form errors.

Paul, thank you for the response. Yesterday I took a drive to Gander Mountain to do some "window shopping" and while there I decided to pick up another dozen carbon arrows to match the ones I have. I decided that I might as well use a set-up that has worked in the past rather than mess around looking to save a few bucks and probably miss one because of it.
Thanks again for your help.
