I was drawing back my extreme vft today andwhen I got to full draw I heard a pop.I was holding at full draw and noticed my string had popped of the idler wheel and was resting on the axle.My bowtech dealer was out today so I carried it to a pse dealer I know he put it back on for me.he told me he does not know that much about bowtechs but that he had never seen that happen before and that everything looked alright but I needed to carry it to my dealer when he gets in and have him look everything over.He said that the limb could be getting weak or something.i know that I have never had any problems with this bow and have had it for 2 years now and hunting season is approaching and now I am worrying if my bow is gonna blow up on me or not. This is my second bowtech and I love this bow I never had a problem with my first one either.Has anyone ever had this happen and if so what was the cause.Sorry for the long post but I know a lot of guys on here shoot bowtech and just wondering if it could be a major problem. Thanks for reading.

I know you're waiting for an answer and wish I had one to offer.
I have heard of other brands doing something similar if excessivetorque was placed on the grip during thedraw.
Could that possibly be what happened?

Had the exact same thing happen on my 06 Tribute. The cams were apparently leaning from the factory and caused the string to hop off of the cam. This was on a brand new bow that I had only put about 100 arrows through. It actually bent a groove in the lower cam. Bowtech sent new cams and all is well again.
