Default Summit harness recall,

The Summit team is the best! I thought I was going to have a problem getting the exchange for the new harness because I cut the tag off the recalled one. To get the new harness you have to send in that tag. I explained that Icut it off and threw it out. Well the new harness was delivered to me today! Gotta love a company that does the right thing!

I don't see where they could afford to take the risk. You are right though. It was an in-house volutary recall. I just sent my tag into them today and hope to get my new harness soon.

I know it's a cliche', but I'm not using it as one: Summit's customer service is second to none!

Default RE: Summit harness recall,

How long did it take for them to get a harness back to you guys? I just found out about the recall & called today, Wed 9-6, and they said a kit was being sent out to me asap. I have a hunt planned for Oct 2-4 th, so am not sure if I should risk returning before or wait till after.. The rep said the recall had something to due the leg loops, but the harness is still usable..Thanks, Duane
