Default Fletching Blazers

I just picked up some Blazers. With them being so short, does it make any difference whether you use a straight or helical clamp with carbon shafts?

I use a Grayling 6 degree right helical with 2" wraps. Never had a problem with it. Fletched about 8 arrows in an hour.

I use a JO-JAN with right helical and have not had any problems.

Doesn't much matter, but the helix will give you just a touch of spin, not much though. Those Blazers are too short to get much twist on them.

I just got my freebies Blazers in the mail a few days ago and since all I had was a helical clamp I used it. I haven't had any problem with them. Not as much of a spin as a longer vane, but it's still there and seems it should be enough to get the job done stabalizing a smaller broadhead.

Can you use an Arizona fletcher to put on the Blazers?

I fletch my Blazers onto carbon shafts using a Bitzenberger. I use a right helical clamp and dial in as much offset as I can and still have the vanes touch the shaft. This puts quite a lot of spin into my arrows during flight.

I am shooting the new predator vanes and the savage vanes from duravane and they seem to be working really well for me. I like the fact that I can shoot a really short vane.
