Default hoyt warranty

Hi, this is my first post. I live in Australia and am getting back into the sport after 10 years focusing on other things. just bought myself a Bowtech Allegiance 61lb at 28". whisper biscuitand trophy ridge sight (just a cheapo at the moment)

I am shooting Carbon Express 250 Terminators cut at 27.5" with 90grn tips, 2" or 2.5" blazers (not sure) Would there be a way that I could work out ballpark figures on arrow speed. Also what would be the effect if I increased the tips to 125grn?

Also, I have a question regarding hoyt warranties.

Have they always been a lifetime warranty?

I also shoot a 55lb 28" internature viper long bow. So you could say that I shoot both types of bow... Bowtech and Lowtech.

Cheers,

I don't know if they have always been lifetime, but I would suspect not. Most likely 5 years.

Welcome aboard!!!

One of the only few bow mfgs that offer a lifetime warranty is PSE. I dont know too many bow mfgs that offer a life time warranty other than maybe Mathews.

My new
reflex Highlander has a limited lifetime. Of course, it meantions that any crutial tuning must be accomplised by a Reflex Pro Shop. That pretty much means there is NO warrenty, cause I am not going to a pro-shop for anything...

I am a RF engineer, and if I can't figure it out, then so be it. I maintain my Jeep vehicle, and everything else in my household.

So, I will accept the fact that anything I do to my Reflex will void the 'warrenty'.

Most manufacturers have life time warranty's. Would be dumb not to. But, they are broke down different. Some wont cover certain parts on the bow. While others will. And liftime of warranty differs also. Pse's lifetime warranty is for a lifetime of the bow. Meaning you can give or sell your PSE, A/R , Browning to a friend -brother and the warranty goes w/ that person. The only other company I know that does this is Martin. All others are for the original owner. Warranty doesnt carry over to the next person!!! Hope this helps. Good luck!!!!!!!!

No,Hoyt has not always had a lifetime warranty. It used to be a 3 year warranty. It changed to a lifetime about 2001 or 2002,I think.
