Default Lube on the cam bearings?

Hello, I recently read that it is necessary to lube the bearings on the came and what not....well I have a hoyt powertec if that helps at all, what oil should i use, I have just about every gun oil known to man, well not every, but a lot, would good ole hoppes #9 work?...the stuff in the orange bottle for guns and fishing reels?.....does my bow even need the oil?...and if so how do i get it worked in, thank you for any advice

Don't use oil! powdered graphite works great. The stuff they use in cub scouts for the pinewood derby. It's called Hob-E-Lube I think

Depending on who you ask, sealed bearings shouldn't need lubed at all. Powdered graphite would workuntil it gets wet. My local pro shop uses white lithium grease when they do overhauls.

I have the redline cam, it isn't real old, it was a 99, and limbs were replaced in 2002, so its still pretty new, but what i could tell it looked like it had bushings instead of bearings

How about the remington dry lube, its in a can and says it dries to a teflon coating, will this work?...and be safe?...thanks!
