take pictures of each side of the cam - marking the cable with tape. take a picture of the cable slide - marking the cable with tape and making sure the picture includes whether the string and cable cross above or below the slide. also, if your cam isn't marked - and its in the right place before you swap, mark your cam with a marker so you know when you've got it right again.

twisting the cable increases drawlength and poundage.

twisting the string decreases drawlength and poundage.

twisting the cable makes the same adjustment to the cam that untwisting the string makes and vice versa.

what kind of bow?

I remember the first time and I've done it hundreds of times since. Gibblet gives some good advice, especially if your worried, using a digital camera and simply view the screen.

Otherwise change them one at a time, it's not as difficult as one can make it out to be.

Listen to Gibblet and don't do what I did the first time which is take everything off at once. Man that was spooky just using a little bowmaster portable press. Do em one at a time and its a piece of cake. And make sure you get your strings from Gibb.

I did my first set earlier this year. I used a bowmaster and changed one at a time. Change one at a time and it will be much easier. Also measure your brace height, A-A, and nock to peep. Makes it much easier to get it shooting how it was before you changed your strings.
