Default Bowtech down! Help

To start off i know i messed up bad. I accidently dry fired my 2005 BT Defender. I was in my bedroom picturing a bull elk broadside. I started to draw my bow without a release, just holding on to the string, about half way drawn the string slipped and THWACK! I scared the crap out of me. The worse part is the string jumped off the top cam. Its caught on the axal touching the limb. I looked for any limb cracks and didn't see anything. I called my proshop and i'm taking my bow in to be fixed and for an inspection. I'm pretty worried, what do y'all thinki should do? or other possible concerns

A dry fire from half draw usuallywon't mess up anything on the bow. The string might be cut or frayed, but I'm sure they'll check that at the shop. If it's been over a year since you've replaced the string and cables, might be wise to go ahead and do it while they've got the bow in the press.

Well back from the proshop and everything turned out to be okay. The serving on the top cableis just tiny bitpulled apart. they said is should be fine but just to keep an eye on that top cable if it starts to fray. Nothing like a proshop in a time of need. There werent any signs of limb damage either.
