Default Muzzy Broadheads

I've been experimenting with a few packs of Muzzy 100 grain 4 Blade broadheads and have a few concerns about them:

1. When blades are installed and tip is tightened down there is still more room for it to be tightened, is this normal?

2. When the blades are not installed and tip is on they spin great but as soon as blades are installed and tip is tightened not all spin correctly.

Anyone with any suggestions?

1. I tighten the tips until they are completly tight, no room left to tighten.
2. Once they are completly tightened, they fly great for me , I have taken 3 deer using Muzzy 100 grain 4 blade broadheads shooting 57lbs this season so far.
Make sure you use a little elbow grease and get them tightened all the way. I dont know what else to tell you? Once I get them tightened all the way, I never have any part still lose.

I also use the these heads. I get great arrow flight with them and have not had any problems with them spining true. I did have to go to helical fletch though to get them to fly great.

I have found the tips tend to give an "optical illusion"( spelling?) Tighten the blades all the way down, use a pair of pliers and apply gentle pressure until the tip is tight. The should spin true and fly great. If not contact Muzzy with your problems and the will make you happy.

The muzzy heads as 5 shot said can give an optical illusion. The muzzy 3 blade is a great broadhead and is time tested. It is the best product muzzy has made if you ask me.

I had the same problem, I returned the pack and got new ones which work great.

Thanks for the responses.

I went back and really tightened them on good and they spin and fly great. I noticed the optical illusion before on them.

Thanks again
