LOL... If only you guys could see these specs. Talk about a night & day difference between two compound bows (and a 10 year difference in technology).
Thoughts: Excellent setup. The trajectory table is really flattened out with this new bow. We have come a long way in 10 years when you think about it! [8D]
Bow #2: 1996 PSE Edge Series 1000C {not in database, so I used 2002 PSE Deer Hunter stage 3 synergy dual cam}
63# draw weight, 30" draw, 65% letoff
Easton XX75 Camo Hunter 2315, 30.5" cutlength, 125 grain tips.
Velocity: 209 fps FOC: 10.15% K/E: 54.25
Thoughts: Man, talk about an arc!!!! When I clicked on the trajectory button and saw the arrow trajectory of the old bow, I had to chuckle! Good Lord it was like lobbing a football out to a 40 yard pass!!!! This old bow was slow, but flinged heavy aluminum arrows that hit like a ton of bricks. Classic "old school setup".
Oh great, here we go...I can hear Arthur and all his recurve friends running this way to tell us all how many animlas they have killed with those slow sticks and rubber bands attached to them. HAHAHA!
Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight. Just kidding.

YA YA YA recurve, longbow whatever....a stick is a stick!!! Call them what you wish, but just remember they bothmake a good hot, slow burning log for the camp fire. Nothing better than finding a good piece of wood when you're cold in camp. Justplaying.[8D]Along that note...I do have a great grandpa that is pure blood American Indian. He says you guys with your fancy recurve and longbows are cheating. He used to do it with a good piece of spruce at arrow speeds half of what you guys are shooting.
ButchA,
Sorry to get so far off the topic. Glad you like your new bow and thanks for sharing the info. It does drive a few points home for me.

No sweat... Yeah, we have come a long ways with archery over the past years, decades, ...centuries.
Imagine shooting a lowbow, accurately, while on a galloping horse. How in the world did the indians do it back then? I am not afraid to admit, I'd be lost trying to shoot a longbow without any sights, rest, or anything... [:-]
