I just bought 19 of these from a friend of mine and was woundering if they are going to work in my bow?

I have a Mathews LX with a draw weight of 70 pounds. These are the Superlight. I am wanting to use them for hunting also.

I am pretty new to bow hunting only been doing it for about two years no and have been useing the Beman ICS Hunters.

Um, forgive me....but wouldn't this question have been more relevant BEFORE you bought them???????

I need more info to answer your question. How long is the arrow?

Depending on the arrow length and draw length they might be ok but if your arrows and draw length are long you might need to bump up to the 3-60's.

He needed the money, and I figured that if they dont work I can always get my money back for them I gave him $80 for 19 arrows.

Half of them are 29" and the other half are 27" I draw 28.5.

Thanks

Yes, they should be fine. I like the shorter ones, they would be the best. You're pretty borderline, but you should be fine.

I shoot the ACC 3-49's without flaws for years out of my 70 lb Vortec set at 68 lbs and now out of my 70 lb Allegiance set at 70 lbs...my arrows are 27" long weighing in at 381 grains with a 100 grain head and Blazers.

Keep them as short as possible and keep the head weight down to 100 grains or less and you should be fine for target arrows. If broadheads give you problems try going down to an 85 grain head and see what happens. I shot 3-60's at 29" and 70 lbs with a 125 grain head for years and they worked well.

I shot the same bow and arrow setup as Rob posted for several years with great results. Now shoot all carbon arrows because of cost. You should be fine.
