Default New bow set-up question

I pickedup my new 06 Tomcat last week. Today was the first time I got to shoot it. I used the sight from my old bow and took only three shots to get on target at 20yds. My question concerns the way the bow was set-up. After tying in the peep, the dealer set my nock point and rest (QAD). Then, using serving, herappedabove the nok set, left a gap for the arrow, used a cushon button, then rapped below the cushon button. This serving goes 2" above the nok set and at least 2" below the cushon button. He also used serving on the QAD rest pull cord instead of using the supplied cable clamp. Is all of this extra serving going to slow my bow down?

Not enough to keep you from killing deer or anything else for that matter.

Anything you add to your string slows your arrow speed down
