Hi all,
Just a quick question. How many of you shoot the Hindsight,or other peep eliminators.
I tried the glass bubble one with the dot in the middle and couldn't get used to it.But I was thinking of trying the Hindsight.
Now my question is dose it work the same as the No-peep,and how many pins can you see thruogh it?I reguarly shoot a 6 pin sight, and have put a 10 pin on my Tribute.
The Tribute is the bow I was thinking of putting it on to gain a few more FPS.
I feel more comfotable shooting a peep, but I was thinking of trying something new.Any reviews or awnsers is welcomed.

Wish I could help you with the Hindsite bud,but I am one of those guys who shoot the NP,you know with the glass bubble
J/W---what was the problems you faced with the No-Peep that you couldent get used to? Maybe I can help
May sound stupid, but I couldn't see it.The circle you line up,no matter whatthe Pro shop guy did to help me I couldn't figure it out.
When I thought I had it I was off more than when I didn't.
When I looked at the No-Peep it looked like it was in the middle of the green circle, but when i lined up my pins and the no peep I would shoot high.
The pro shopowner after about 2weeks took it off and put my old peep on and saidthere not for everyone.
What was I doing wrong?

Jack , my brother in-law has a hind sight and the way it works is that if you used 3 ,4 or 5 pins you line your 20yd pin in the hind sight and say your target is at 30, you put your 30yd pin on the target.no matter what yardageyour shooting the 20 is always put in the hind-sight . Better yet here's a link to it.http://www.hindsightco.com/hs/

This is just my opinion, but it seems that the 1-2 seconds i spend while drawn to get those devises lined up would be 1-2 seconds that I'd rather be consentrating on the deer.
just my .02

I mounted the NP at the bottom of the site so I could see it much better through my perpherial vision. All I have to do is draw back my bow, look down at it briefly, line my desired pin on target and let her fly.
This is what you will see when at full draw. The black dot will be centered in the middle of the green circle.
Sorry for the photo, the NP doesNOT cover any pins at full draw, its just the way I had to line things up and take a pic.
Once you establish a comfortable draw and stay consistent with it,you will find that you are not looking at the NP much at all.It is only there as a reference point to tell you ,you are on your proper anchor.
Believe me,its very finnicky to set up.Very touchy, the slightest movement on a set screw will throw it off a lot.I almost threw mine up against the wall the first time setting it up,but believe me,it gets easier the more you do it.
Dont worry about trying to line up your pins with the NP.Like I already mentioned,Come to full draw and the NP should be centered in the green if set up properly. This will only take a quick check. If it is then keep your anchor and put your desired pin on target and release.
The NP is not a aiming devise. It is a little gadget to remind you of your form and lets you get rid of the peep on the string, kisser button or whatever else you have on the string to make coming to your proper anchor.
Give the NP another try,set it up on your bow and remember to have alot of patience. You may have to come to anchor 50 times before you get it right, but remember, only little adjustments at a time.
Once its set up properly you will not be dissapointed, trust me
Thanks guys,
Extreme, that is the same sight picture I had.The black dot would almost cover the green,be dead center. When I would release it was off?
Was it not set-up right or do I have to look more towards me form?

I think you may have to look more at your form.
Seriously,If you are at your comfortable anchor and the dot is centered in the green then you should be able to release the arrow and have it hit the desired target your pin was on.
You are not supposed to be looking at your NP when firing your bow,its only there to remind you of your anchor,to be perfect every time.Once you are comfortable at your anchor then concentrate on your pins.
I believe you are dropping your bow arm on release and not realising it.May have to long of a draw length as well, causing you to tilt your head back to far. There are so many things to think on form it can be mind boggling---lol.
Have someone stand beside you when shooting your bow,and see if they can pinpoint the problem, usually something real simple with a little practice can be turned around in a little practice.
Try setting up your NP again, spend some time getting it perfect.Mount it so when at full draw its not obstructing the pins.Practice a bit more with it while having someone watch you from the side.
Good luck with it,and if you are having any problems at all,let me know and I would be glad to help out.Believe me,It was alot of trial and error on my part the first time[:-]
Question for ya-----When you are at full anchor ,do you look to the right of the string, assuming your right handed or vise versa for lefty.?
Having a tight anchor to your face and looking to the right of string will give you a rock solid anchor, being the most consistent.
Bareback , Like you I had troubels with the no-peep , but the hindsight works diferantly , it accualy worked well for me and I would recomend it to archers who are in their first few years of the sport . At this point I am useing a quality string and a true peep . If you chose to use a hind sight ,vertical pins like the trophy ridge sights use seam to give a clearer sight picture
