Default Another Bowtech Allegiance question

Ok, here is my current huntingsetup;
Darton Rampage
7'' brace height
36'' ATA
28'' draw length
58 pounds
460 grain arrow
231 fps

First off this is one of the best shooting bows I've owned which is why I still use the old thing. After reading all thehype about Bowtech this and Bowtech that I'm wondering how much speed I would gain shooting an Allegiance with the same specs asabove. If anyone hasa setup close to mine, or has a chronograph they could shoot a similar weight arrow thru,maybe it would give me a close estimate.The extra speed and KEareall I'm interested in because as I stated above, my Rampage shoots excellent. If the gain in speed isn't significant I wouldn't spend the money. Oh, and by the way, the nearest dealer is 45 minutes away or else I would just take one of my arrows there and shoot thru the chrono. Any help would be appreciated.

C,
If my #'s are correct the Alli should be around 245fps 28indr 58lbs 460gr
arrow with an increase of 6.81lbs ke.These were figured from another
o6' Alli 28in draw with the fast mod installed.

I shot a 60 lb Allegiance with a 381 grain arrow at a speed of 272 fps with speed mods at 28". Your arrows weighs 80 grains heavier divided by 3 for each 1 fps of speed loss, so it should shoot your arrow at, 246 fps.... just like K-Zone comes up with.

My 70lb Allegiance shoots my same 381 grain arrow at 305.

According to OnTarget2 it would shoot around 269fps with a 460 grain GT XT Hunter, 28", @ 58 lbs and peep/loop as well.

Well, this gives me some numbers to chew on. I guess I'll just have to drive over and give one a try. I got a feeling that if I do, I'll be coming home a little lighter in the wallet. Thanks for the replies eveyone.

If you're gonna get a new bow, go with lighter arrows and watch the speed soar!! I shoot my All. @ 60# 29" draw (I'll have 10 fps over you) with a 320 grain arrow and get 307 fps!!
