Default hey trycon owners

I got to shoot the trycon XL the other day. Nice Very nice. Like everyone said no hand shock( and I shot it with out a stabalizer), the draw was much smoother than I thought it was going to be. it really spit the arrows out. 29 in draw and at 60lbs and an arrow at about 300 grains the chrono was 290. My draw is only 27.5 so I would think that shooting at 63to65 pounds I would get in the mid 270s.
My question is are you guys happy with the accuracy? Is it shooting better that whatyou expected?I am assuming there is not a problem with it.
Thanks and have fun shooting them
Mike

I really like mine! When I first shot itI heard some very slight string buzz, so the dealer tied small, rubber cat-whiskers next to the Stringshox, and the noise was gone. Now he doesn't let them leave the shop without that modification. There is no kick (up or forward), but I have an S-Coil for extra dampening (and to hold my wrist-strap on). My bow weighs 4lb 15oz with everything on (except the quiver).
As for accuracy and forgiveness, I work nights (mostly 12-hour shifts because of OT) and drink too much coffee. Yet when I shoot after work (and I am a little shaky) my groups are still surprisingly tight. The grip is very comfortable, and with ZERO hand-shock it is very easy to shoot. I chose the Trykon over the XL for the shorter ATA length. Try a few different bows and, if the Trykon (XL)feels the same or better than the others, go with the Trykon!

I have a regular Trykon, but haven't been able to shoot it due to my shoulder injury [:@]

When I shot the Trykon and the Trykon XL before I ordered my bow, they both shot equally well in my hands. I doubt you will have any issues with either bow.

Rammer,
I'm no doctor, but I'd lay off archery entirely until you're back to 100%! Good luck with it!

Well, today I decided to let a few arrows fly. Doctor told me the other day I could slowly start working into my routine of doing stuff. I shot 12 times, and it never hurt one bit.

Took me 4 shots to get it dead center at 20 yards. Then I discovered you cannot shoot at the same spot 2 times in a row, unless you like wrecking arrows. I peeled a fletching off my first arrow. Luckily it wasn't a robin hood.

Rammer - Congrats on the NON Robinhood. I did that once and thought it was cool. I have the arrows here in my office. Look great but it reminds me to not do that again. Very expensive. Glad to hear you were able to shoot it a couple of times. Take it slow and enjoy that Trykon.

The Trykon is shooting like NO other bow I've ever owned before! What an incredible impressive machine! I can't wait to carry this machine to the turkey blind in a few weeks! Accuracy is even better than what I expected. The Trykon is actually the shortest machine I've ever owned so I never imagined that it would be shooting the tightest long range groups I've ever fired! I'm just totally pumped about this great performance machine!

I enjoy my Trykon XL to the highest degree. The accuracy is great for league and competition, and I will be hitting turkey season and pig season with it as well. No complaints here, as well as no complaints on the paper.
