Man i cannot figure this thing out it is beginning to get on my last nerve!!!!
But I will prevail, im determined to figure it out and make a good fletched arrow. No matter what i do I cannot get 100 percent contact with the base of the vane and the shaft ive moved the set screws and it still does not help me. Im using Fletch-Tite Platinum on Easton C2 Realtree Green shafts. Can someone please help me???

Have you tried moving the fletch up and down the clamp? With the helical clamp you sometimes have to adjust the fletch in the clamp as well as the set screwsto get good contact. I went through the same thing when I got mine, you will get it figured out and it will become easy, don't give up.

I always have a couple of scrap shafts in the diameter of the actual arrows I am fletching handy, that way I can iron out placement ahead of time before I start fletching the "Good" ones.

Try a fletching, if it's not quite right, turn the knob adjust and try again.......if you get through all 3 and still don't like one of them, strip em off and start over.
Saves wear and tear and the appearance of your expensive shooter shafts.

I just got mine in the mail the other day. I use a straight clamp with 3-degree off-set. I found that the more off-set you give this clamp the less contract the ends of fletching have. You have to find a happy medium with the provided adjustments. I also learned that if you pull entire length of vane out from clamp about 1/16 of an inch you will get 100% contact on the sharper angles. Give it a try.
