Default Rest for Extreme VFT

I have a 04 Vft Bowtech. Are there some rest that wont work with Bowtechs ? I mean fit on the bow. Will the whisker fit?? Also thinking of the TT shakey hunter. Thanks

I have an 04 Mighty Mite VFT and have used the TT, MZE and the Wisker Biscuit on it with good success. The MZE Next Generation being the most accurate of the three.

Center shot on your bow is not as far left as the 05 BowTechs. So nearly any rest will work. The Whisker Biscuit or TT will fit fine. The only issue I had with the Shakey was the launcher clearing the riser within the sight window. The Original has plenty of clearance.

I have an '03 Extreme VFT which is the same as the '04 except the camo and hush kit are different. I have a Drop Zone on mine and I love it. The only issue is that I have to rotate my nocks to achieve fletching clearancewith the cables. If you have the same issue, be sure whatever rest you get will allow you to rotate the nocks and still achieve clearance from the rest.

The muzzy rest is one of the quietest rests made , if not the most quiet . Put atheltic tape , or medical bandage tape on the claw where the arrow slides and its deadly silent on the draw allso .

I just put a dropaway on my extreme vft about a month ago.It is the kaz away that vital bow gear makes.I was worried that with the short brace height of the extreme that I might have trouble with a drop away but I tell ya this bow has never shot better. My arrows fly like darts and it is very quiet. You can go to www.vitalbowgear.com and check em out.I never thought that a dropaway would make this much difference but I love it!
