How is the camo cableguard holding up on the new Bowtechs? I was just wondering if the camo is coming off or anything like that. And do you lose any speed with these cable guards because of the camo coating?
I have taken right around 800 shots with my 06 BowTech and have not seen any signs of wear on cable gaurd. As far as your speed loss question...I don't know, I have nothing to compare it to.

I have shot a comparable number of shots out of my '06 Old Glory and have not noticed any camo wear either. The only way you would be able to compare a loss of speed is with a standard black, unpainted cable rod. I haven't looked at mine yet but I would assume they are glued in? I cannot imagine the speed loss would be significant..maybe 1-2 fps if at all, especially when you consider the distance the slide actually travels on the rod itself.
Mildot, I've also wondered how long the paint job will last, are you using the stock slide?
I sure am.
