I'm on a quest to eliminate "extra" junk from my string. The rubber cord to my peep sight kept coming off so I removed it. I quickly noticed some increase in speed. Not a big amount but noticable.
The only other things left on my string is the loop, which must stay. A kisser button and the actual peep sight.
If you were going to remove one, would you take off the peep sight or remove the kisser button?
If you havea consistant anchor point you may choose the kisser button ,I was in this very same situation last season and I was determined to eliminate every little thing that I didn't need on my string. I have on my string now is my peep and brass nock ,this spring the peep will be gone ,I'll be putting my no-peep on.
I wouldn't take off either one. IMO, both are needed for a concrete anchor. Not everyone will agree with me here I am sure. The speed you gain will be minimal at best.

remover the kisser i have never used one and alot if peoplei know trys them and most take them off once they get comfortable with the bow, i dont think its nearly as helpful as a peep. i use the tip of my nose and the corner of my lip for an ancor.

Only thing on my string is the serving and a small tied-onnocking point made of dental floss. But I don't use a release or sights, so it's probably not applicable.

That is what I did. I just make sure my knuckle is hitting my jaw under my ear and make sure the srting is hitting in the middle of my nose. I am just as accurate with out the kisser.

this is a lot more fun when you are not losing arrows
I have neither on my string. Just a comfortable anchor, string touching nose, and a little orange spot on my string (5 knotted wraps) to line up with the base of my pins. Might not work for everyone, but I like it. Tried the Timberline No-Peep. The string wrap works just as well for me.
