Default 2003 Hoyt lineup is on their website

Say hello to my new hunting bow! "Ain't" that Razortec just plain sweet-lookin'!

I am also predicting that the Dynatec will be one of the best, if not the best mid price range sellers out there.

That should somewhat sum it up Frank.

The Razortec don't look to shabby, but I have never been a real fan of split limb bows.

I do have one question for you though. Are they shipping from the factory with leeches on them? And are these bows consider dual cam bows?

My dealer told me they are coming from the factory with the leaches. From my experience with them, they shouldn't take too long to shoot off the bow. As for the cam question, it depends on who you ask...

Yeah, how much can we expect to pay for this new technology?

All you Hoyt shooters out there where is the best place to get a good price on a new bow? Most of the local shops seem pretty high but I didn't know if anybody else sold lower and made up for it in volume.

IBM,

Yes, the new Hoyt bows come with not only limbsavers but the newer style of string leeches as well. I will be taking mine off as soon I get the new bow. I have no faith in them.

I do not believe these are to be considered dual cam bows. I think it was Len that pointed out the rigging on not only the new "cam and a half" but also on the Darton CPS system as well as most conventional single cam bows. Plus, both of the "eccentrics" on the cam and a half are different from one another. I would assume that by definition a "dual cam" would need to have the same exact cam on the top limb and on the bottom.

As for prices.....I don't have an answer for you. I am assuming that the prices will have remained relatively unchanged this year. So, you could probably expect prices in the $570 to $600 range for all of the XT2000-machined aluminum riser TEC hunting bows. Prices for the Magnatec and MTSport should also be similar to last year depending on limb style. The Dynatec should be around $400 if I am not mistaken but again, that is all just conjecture.

Maybe some of the others, like Len, etc..., might be able to help as they probably get the price lists quicker than the rest of us folks.

Hey Frank hope you don't mind me asking but doesn't a dual cam system have two power cables? I also saw posted somewhere a Hoyt engineer said this is not a dual or single cam?...

Frank,

The Razortec is ok but it doesn't have the magic.
You need to get a bow with some magic.
I resisted for two years and now have the magic.
You need to experience it too, my friend.
Come on over!
Pinwheel and I, plus everyone else, are waiting on you. : )

Sag.
