Default Gold Tip 30x arrows anyone?

I realize that these arrows are for target use, especially getting that perfect 300 vegas score, but I am looking into them for my new comeptition arrows. If anyone is using the Golt Tip 30x new arrows for competition, let me know.

I shoot these arrows indoors for spots, as well as the very similar CX X-Jammers. They are a heavy, STIFF, arrow that is most suited to spot shooting. I cannot imagine anyone shooting these for 3D or Field..they are just too heavy and slow. If you are looking for a large diameter carbon for 3D and have the draw length and poundage to get them up to speed, the GoldTip UL X-Cutters are the way to go.

I think Tim Gillingham used 30X arrows in Flrida and won the 3D ASA event this year with them.He has a monster draw length -- but still he had light tip weight (I think) and did not attempt to break down the spine.

I would not personally use the 30X for 3D, the X-cutters or 22s serve fine.

I use the 30X for indoors.

Well, I ended up purchasing 3 30x gold tips, and I will use them next week for comeptition. I used pin nocks and 4 inch feathers on them, with a 150 grain glue in tip. Works awesome, super accurate, and somewhat forgiving.
