I bought my first bow a couple months ago. Initially, I put a Trophy Ridge V-Drive sight on it, but it began rattling every time I shot, so I returned it and got a Copper John sight. My problem is this: The Trophy Ridge was much "longer" (stuck out further in front of the riser). Now with a "shorter" sight, my peep sight won't allow me to see the ring around the pins, causingsome serious inaccuracy. I think I need a bigger hole in my peepsight. I would take it back to the pro shop, but it's a long drive from where I'm at, I was hoping I could fix it at home. Suggestions??
Also, I watched the "Buckmasters World Championship" Archery Competition (with Jackie Bushman), and noticed that the competitors were shooting bows that looked like hunting bows, not the target bows that I've seen. One of them looked like a Switchback, which is what I've got, so I was just wondering if mine can be set up for target competition, or not. I'm far from good enough to compete yet, buy maybe with a lot of practice!...
I appreciate any help with the peep sight!!!!!!!!

if you've got a way to take it off the bow - very important ok - don't do it on the bow, you may be able to drill the peep out a bit. or you could just order a new one online with a bigger hole. you can put it in without the shop i'd think. you'll need something tapered and smooth, and about as big as the peep in there now. stick it in the gap, take the old one out, put the new one in. if you mess up your string i know a guy that makes 'em.
