no, didn't need it. i still like my patriot s/c for hunting and will for quite a while. its a great bow, and this press will handle it no problem, it was built for it. the new one is for the tribute and the like, at least from what i understand.
question, before i press the bow - which i really don't need to, but,
on the riser, just before the limb pockets, there are these inward rolls on the inside that look perfect for the press. the guy at the shop said you didn't have to press this bow like you would my patriot. is that true? i'm wondering about placement, on the riser, or where it, the limbs,and the limb pockets meet?
