Default Grain Weight?

I am currently shooting a Browning Backdraft about 2 or 3 years old. Im pulling 70lbs its maxed out. I picked up some Magnum Super Carbons yesterday cut to 28 inchs. According to the Cabelas website they have 8.1GPI in the 55-70 model. With 8.1GPI at 28 inchs thats 226.8GPI with a 100 Grain broadhead thats 326.8 Grains is that enough to humanlly take a deer?

That's plenty, by the time you figure in your insert, nock, and vanes you'll be pushing 400 grains. That's plenty to bring down any whitetail. A well placed shot your going to get a complete pass through anyway. How much more KE do you want?

Plus 15 gr. for an insert and depending on what fletching you have maybe another 20 gr. plus a 10-15 gr. nock so actually your at about 370-380 grains which is enough to kill a deer with.
