Default 100 vs 125 grain

I assume this ? has been asked many times before, but i was just wondering how much difference is there in speed using the 100 or 125 grain broadheads? I currently use 125 grain Muzzy's, with an older bow set at about 55-60 lbs. This year i took a shot at a doe, and upon releasing the arrow the deer ducked to jump and the arrow hit high, and i unfortunately didnt find the deer. Would i get faster arrow speed with 100 grain broadheads? Also, is there anything to do short of buying a new rest to quiet my draw? As i draw back my arrow sliding over my rest makes a quiet, but still audible wshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh noise, which alerted the aforementioned deer. Thanks for any help in advance, i cant wait to get back out there... only about 8 more months until WI bowopener!!

The speed difference between the two would be neglible, neither you nor the deer will notice the difference. You did not state what kind ofrest you are using ,but if using a two prong rest you could buy teflong prong covers or better yet put some moleskin on there.Goodluck

Any drugstore, and most supermarkets. I like black felt myself. But you have to look a little harder for it. Cabelas has it I know.
