Default New rest for Tribute

I have my Tribute set up with a micro adjust Trophy Taker Shaky hunter.
I love this rest and have it on my other bow. My dilemma is the way you have to set it up (about 2 in. below launcher arm) leaves alot of cable flying around upon release. I had it set up by a shop, I just don't know if I like the amount of cable required to set the rest up. You cannot use a cable to your cable slide with this rest, as the angle of the hole where you attach the cable doesn't allow for proper operation. I was told that the length of the the rope is due to travel of the buss cable. I was checking out the new Alpine Archery drop away and it has multiple locations for rope attachment. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Sorry for the long post.

Look into the Muzzy Zero Effect. They have a newer model designed specifically for parallel limb bows.

i heard good things about the qad on that bow, and the sims cable slide has the cord hole on the opposite side so you can use it. i'm going to look into that muzzy for my patriot i think.

sr77 i like the trophy taker for the tribute as long as it is driven by the cable slide, works best on binary cams that way. jim
