Default How To's..

I just got my first bow and I am quickly realizing I have a ton of stuff to learn. I thought it might be a good idea to make a thread and have people post up any how to info that they have. I have seen some links and articles posted up on all kinds of stuff. So if you know of an article that will make things easier, post it up. Tuning, troubleshooting, arrow making, whatever you can think of. If there is enough info in one thread, maybe a moderator could make a sticky out of it so that other newbies will be able to find this info also. Makes it easier than having the same questions asked many times as well. Thanks,
Kyle

Hope you enjoy that new bow, my only advice would be to download & read the eastonarchery tuning guide. http://www.eastonarchery.com/downloads.asp

I have to agree with Dave C.

I printed it off and stored it in a 3 ringbinder with all of the other articles and forummaterialI find useful.

Another tip would be to meet someone or go to someone you know who understands the sport of archery.

I think the best way to start with your bow is to have a coach get you set up and started in the sport. It is easy to learn bad habits early, which you will only have to break later. Good solid first hand coaching can eliminate alot of problems. Plus, you can usually learn the most from first hand instruction.

I need to follow my own advice and find someone to coach me. Any takers? LOL
