wat is the best way to remove remaining fletch and residual glue from an arrow before putting on wraps....the cleaning solvent "OOPS" does not get all the glue off--Does acetone work...wat do yall suggest?
I bought a vane stripper, they are real inexpensive and take off the vane a glue with one swoop.
some of the guys use a box knife be carefull not to take off too much. Don't use any solvents as they may breakdown your arrows. I am assuming these are carbon arrow?
I use a cheap-o razor knife. The ones that are retractable and you can brake the blade off as it gets dull. Then I use a scotch brite to get remaining glue and to scuff the shaft before putting it in the cleaning solution.
