Default Bowtech Allegiance and VBG Kaz Away

I just ordered my new Bowtech Allegiance and like the idea of a fall away rest with the claws to hold the arrow in place at rest (Specifically:Vital Bow Gear's "Kaz Away" or the "Vital Drop" models). I'm told the Trophy RidgeDrop Zone(does not hold the arrow) dropsfast enough to clear the fletching but wanted to check if the VBG is fast enough. Has anyone had any issues, or is anyone set up similarly with no problems?

If your talking about the trap door Id skip it and keep looking . Remember when asking this question the 05 and 06 allegiance bow have very diferant centershots and a rest that would not work on an 05 , may very well work on an 06 . The trophy taker is working great on my 05 allegiance ,I did have to get the long windage bar for it .The muzzy droped too slow for it , did not have enough movement . Alot of members here like the dropzone from trophy ridge .

I HAVE A TROPHY RIDGE DROP ZONE ON MY 05 ALLEGIANCE AND HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL. AWESOME REST. I ALSO HAVE A TROPHY RIDGE DROP ZONE ON MY MIGHTY MITE HUNTING BOW AND HAD PROBLEMS WITH FLETCHING CLEARANCE. PRO SHOP GUY JUST SHORTENED UP THE CORD THAT OPERATES THE REST AND IT SHOOTS GREAT.

I used a Muzzy on my 05 Allegiance and had not one problem. It has plenty of travel and drops fast enough.

I have the Kaz-Away on my Might Mite and love this rest. I actually bought from Kaz himself! Great rest I love the way it contains the arrow! Quality gear made in the USA!

Hey bigcountry did you do something diferant with your bow , like cross the cabels above the slide instead of below ?
How long is your draw length ? , mine is 28"s , if yours is longer that may account for it working for you and not me .
Ive been useing the muzzy rest for years on all my bows , and love it , but there was a definate issue on the alligence I owned , with useing a muzzy rest .
