Pse's are one of the best bows on the market. I have owned a PSE for some time and will never buy from any other mfg. Their warranty program is the best. PSEowns more than 80% of all the patents that bow mfgs use to this date, and they have I belive 6 more patents comming out for 2006. If you look at other bows and look at a PSE youll see that most of them look pretty much the same. Get a PSE, you wont be sorry.

Several years ago, when archery was first becoming really popular, if you didn't own a PSE you were ridiculed. Well, the demand caught up with them, and they began mass producing them and the quality went way down. I can't tell you how many of them I saw explode. In fact, the joke around our shop became "PSE, parts scattered everywhere."

Although I am pretty sure those issues have been resolved, because of it, I will never own one.

I have owned 4 different PSE models over the last 14 years or so
and have never had a problem with one of them.

PSE makes a wide range of bows. Some are low-end, value bows. Others are top bows that can rival other high-priced bows on the market. Today, there is very little separating the top bows from most manufacturers. Purchase where you have confidencen in the dealer's ability to take care of you, after the sale.

PSE = pull shoot explode , just kidding , I think they are making brownings and archry research , which are some real nice bows . A AR37 with ram and a 1/2 cams Im sure is a great shooter , and the Browning illusion has become very popular .

I think some of the best advice is to go to a reputable archery shop, shoot all bows in your price range, and then decide on the merrits of the bow and how it shoots instead of what name is tatoo'd to the limb.

Also . . .
Make a list of features you would like to have on the bow.
Like split limb vs. solid.
Compound vs. recurve.
Amount of let-off.
Poundage range.
Weight.
Draw length range.
Single cam, cam & 1/2, dual cam.
How much you can spend on the bow . . . Knowing that there are several hundred dollars still to spend on arrows, rest, sights, release, etc.
Whatever you know about bows, you know a lot about what you want before you start shopping.
Try going to huntersfriend.com, there is a lot of info on their site that help making the potentially large financial decission of what to buy.

pse's are nice,my friend shoots one and it is relly quiet. Get on with split limbs to make it so it doesnt crack at the split for the cam. My dad's friend split his limb 4 inches from the gap during a 3d shoot. nice bows though
