Default An Illusion anyone?

Has anyone tried out the Browning Illusion? Its a curious bow, but don't know why PSE doesn't put limb pockets on it. Still a nice looking bow. I may shoot one Saturday. Any impressions from someone who is shooting or has shot this bow?

I actually shot one yesterday while I was at a ProShop getting some things added to my Switchback. No doubt that it is a smooth bow. There is minimal vibration. Very similar to the Matthews. I would say that it would be a good purchase as long as you have a reputable bow shop near by to service it.

If I had to pick out something negative based on the short time that I shot/looked at it, is that I don't necessarily like the astectics around the limb pockets. It has the spongy materials that looks like that it would wear over time.

Gut Check, I got that impression from just looking at pics. For what the price is......it seems to be lacking in that area. My local shop says the '06 will sell for $650, and he is out of the '05 model. For that kind of money it should have locking limb pockets, no matter how well it shoots.

I don't quiet understand their marketing of this bow. They would sell them by the boatload if they had priced it with a mathews killing low price instead of a nice bow at a mathews price without the mathewsresale value.
I didn't care for that gooey stuff under the limb either. Stuff doesn't stay gooey forever.

I'm sure it's one sweet shooting bow & all they say it is, but I can't seepaying big 3 pricefor a non big 3 bow. Just my 2 cents.
