Default Whisker Biscuit ????'s

Any body having trouble getting good groups with the Whisker Biscuit?
I just came back from the range and my arrows were all over the place at 20 - 30-40 yards. I've had it on the bow for several months and never had this problem before.
Do they "weaken" with time. I bet I've shot a couple hundred times at least.

I have never had any accuracy issues with the biscuit. It is as accurate as any other
rest I have shot. Sounds like you may have a different problem.

I also shoot using the bisquit nice groups here too. put your target out to 35 - 40 yds and watch your arrow (if you can). or paper test..I'll bet it's not the rest. good luck keep us informed.

Sounds like either a bow tune issue or spine problem with the arrows. I would start by measuring everything on the bow like ATA, brace height, tiller. Then I would shoot it through paper. The tear will likely tell you alot. Reflex bows while a great value ( I had a grizzly ) have garbage for strings. I would suspect that might be part of your problem. Get a good set of customs strings and cables from Gibblett and put an STS on your bow and you will be amazed how much you like that bow after.

You definitly have a tuning issue! If it shot good once and now it doesn't , you better look at the whole picture , don't blame the biscuit. I have tryed a lot of rests that are out there and I always put that bicuit back on. I normaly group 4-6'' at 60 yards............can't complain! Ive got 1000s of shots through it ....no signs of wear either

By you stating that you have "had it on the bow for several months" and "do they weaken"tells me that it shot fine before. I would think that it is something other than the biscuit. They will take thousands and thousands of shots to wear them out so I don't think that is your problem.

Check to see if anything is loose, bent, or out of adjustment. Then check to see if your string/cables are stretching. A good way to do this is by checking your AtoA measurment and or tiller measurments. Make it a habit of writing these down once you have the bow shooting good. It will be much easier to find the problem later.

Things to write down:

Actual draw weight-
AtoA length-
Tiller measurments (both top and bottom)-
Brace height-
Distancefrom peep to nock-
Actual Draw length (not what is written on the bow)-

Once you have your bow tuned and shooting good take these basic and easy measurments. Thiswill provide you with much needed information when things like this happen or when changing strings and cables.

Good luck finding the problem.
