I shot my'05Mathews Switchback through a chronograph at the arhery
shop this past week. The bow is 29" draw length, set at 70#, and I am
shooting a 28.5" BlackHawk Vapor 4000 all carbon arrow. I shot it 3 times
and got 3 different readings, 286-288-287 fps.
If anyone out there with close to the same setup, what fps are you
getting?
Sounds about right to me. I get about the same as you with my set up. You have a longer draw but I use shorter arrows. Don't get hung up on getting over 3oo fps. At 286 your arrow is going 95 yds, in 1 sec. That's hauling the mail.
