Default Arrow weight or posture?

My arrows kick right but hit where I aim. I shoot the Carbon Express 4560, Terminator. Think the spine is too weak. May try 6075. I'm maxed out on poundage at 70#.

My posture and anchor point is straight. I know it is important that is why I ask.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

if you back the limbs out each a turn, or a turn and a half, and re-papertune and it doesn't get any better at all, it may be you.

Unless your arrows are 20" long, 4560 Terminators are definitely underspined for 70 pounds.

Ben,

The numbers on the shaft coinside with the weight they should be shot at, assuming approx a 29" length. 45 to 60 lbs. Yes, you should be shooting 6075's.

Where do you live anyway? I see you are a diver. Just got back from the Cayman's three seeks ago myself.

Barry,
I'm stationed in Hawaii on the island of Oahu.

My draw is 26" and I'm maxed out at 70#. The chart says 4560 but my arrow kicks right. I've adjusted my form a bit with foot placement. I just bought some 6075's and will have them cut next week.I also caught myself punching my trigger and that caused a slight wiggle. I seriously feel my arrows are to light. I don't have perfect form but my accuracy is good. I just switched to a Trophy Ridge 5 pin inline sight. I really like it. Better target aquisition. Happy holidays

Not sure anyone cares. Fixed my arrow kick. Infact my arrows where to light so I switched to 6075's. Now I must work my form and trigger release. Thanks for all your inputs.

Masterdiver, if you had plugged your numbers into the calculator in the link I gave you and run the program, it gives a calculated draw weightof 80 pounds. The chart does say 4560's for a 26" arrow at 70 pounds but the calculator tells you to use 80 pounds as your draw weight. The chart shows 6075 as the arrow for a 26" arrow at 80 pounds.

You did good and got the right arrows anyway. Just wanted to point out how important it is to use the calculator when it's available. Actual draw weight is not always the final word.

Good luck!
