UPS won't ship my bow to the U.S.

Hi,

I've talked to three customer service reps and they all confuse it with a crossbow and say it is a weapon. Has any one shipped a bow to the U.S. before?, what did you put as a description?, Any suggestions?

I find that somewhat odd. I regularly deal with various bow manufacturers from overseas such as Merlin, Greenhorn, Bernadini, etc., and have yet to have a problem receiving product.(tho is does take awhile sometimes!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>) Now, PRIVATELY shipping a bow may be under alot more scrutiny because of all of the terrorist garbage going on around the World and security is tight, but I really cannot see them saying "NO" if it is legit. Might be a hassle, but hey, we're living in a different World now, unfortunately. Good Luck! Pinwheel 12

UPS is turning into a pain in the butt, so if possible see if you can ship it some other way

where you trying to ship from? If it is from a military base, ship it using the local post office. Chris
