Default Trophy Ridge Dropzone

Just wondering if any of you use this? If so what is your thoughts about it? I was at the range today and the gentleman next to me had it and I actually tried his bow and really like it. Just want a second opinion before going out to purchase it.

its a nice rest. i understand they are working on making it quieter. if you can hold off a month or two the '06 dropzone should be out and improved. i think it will be worth it if you wait. but maybe they can't fix the noise so don't wait. maybe call and find out.

Maybe I just got lucky, but my DZ is several years old and quiet.

I wouldn't use any other at this point. I love mine, quiet, easy to tune, and for 3 years no failures at all. I have replaced the plastic tubes and o ringsalong with grease it up a little but other than that, just shoot!!!!

This is one rest that has gained a tremendous following on this board and several others and has obviously earned it's great reputation in the field. In fact, I'm sure it has become one ofTHE most popular fallaway restsever. I've used them on all my hunting rigs over the past few season and they have ALWAYS performed flawlessly and very quietly. IMHO, I don't think you can find a better fallaway rest on the market.... I love 'em!

I'm thinking of getting one myself. The only thing holding me up is an issue my friend had with his. He had a hell of a time getting the thing todrop before the arrow got there. They changed the spring and he had to go to 2 1/2" vanes. Is this problem common? My bowtech allegiance is faster than his Patriot so I'm a little worried about shelling out the $100 or so.
