Default about what FPS should i get???

what kind of speed do you think ishouldget with a bowtechallegiance 55# with a 27 inch draw? drop away rest, kisser button, string loop, and gold tip 55-75 arrows?

the reason i am asking is because i am thinking about trading in my hoyt "curently getting around 238fps" for somthing a little bit smaller and faster. thanks a lot

Killer243,

Lots of important information missing. I'm going to assume you are talking about a 2005 Allegiance. I'm going to assume you are shooting 100 grain tips. With that in mind and with a total arrow weightof 373 grains, you should be close to 253 fps with your specifications with the 2005 allegiance.

If you're referring to a 2006 model I would say 255 fps with the smooth camsand 263 fps with the speed cams installed.

Since your using a drop away rest you probably can get away with cutting your arrows back to 25.5 inches. Which will drop your arrow weightto 360 grains. Only going to give you a 2 fps increase.
