I was wondering how the correct way to tie in a string silencer with serving or dental floss. Would i just wrap the string around the silencer so many times than tie it, then after that burn the end and i'm done? Or is there a special way to do it? Thanks

what kind of silencer? if you're talking about spider legs i'd use thread. wrap it a few times and tie a surgical knot and pull tight as you can. i usually put some bow string wax on the thread first. a surgical knot is just an overhand knot but you go thru twice. it won't slip when you tighten it. then tie a square on top and burn.
