Default 06 tomkat

i stoped in my buddies shop today and he has an 06 tomkat that i really liked. he said he would sell it to me for $470 but he also has his bow "an 05 allegiance" i like them both of them a lot but he wants $550 "with nothing on it" for the allegiance. so what would you guys do buy thebrand new tomkat or the slightly used allegiance???
