Default TRIBUTE SPEC ???????

Well I went and shot the Tribute yesterday for about 15 or 20 minutes yesterday and I really like it alot. It definitely is doing everthing they say in the way of hand shock and noise. They are both virtually nonexistent,but I am curious about the speed. Ishot it about 8-10 times thru a chronograph and was getting speed around 308 or so. I was shootinga 350gr. arrow at 70# with a 29''DL. It advertises to shoot in the 320 range IBO with the speed cam. I know I am short a inch of IBO but would that extra inch make that much difference? My other thought is that maybe they marked the Birth Certificate wrong and maybe it had the smooth cam on it instead. I currently have a '05 Allegiance and would like to get the Tribute because it's a little shorter ATA and thats what I prefer but I was just wondering about the advertised speed and see if anyone else had shot one or what your thoughts are on it...Thanks for your input...

that inch would put you around 318 so that's pretty close.

Yep thats about right......you probably have a nock set or loop on the string and that makes a differance also. If you had a peep on.... that too. An inch makes a big differance...........its a real bummer....my draw is 28".

Good Luck!

1inch = ~9fps on my bow.

Plus you have to consider the chronograph and it's accuracy- there not all perfect.
