Default WHAT GRAIN TO BUY

I dont know what grain of arrow to get, my bow is set a 63lbs, i know you probably need for info so ask because i dont know what you need to help me.

Draw length, brand and spine (the number on the shaft) of arrow, length of arrow, feathers or vanes.

Dont drop below 5 grs per pound of draw weight.

63lb = 315gr arrow.

If you want more KE and momentiumthen go with a heavier arrow say around 420 to 450 gr's

Ausie-guy is right on. Most bow manufacturers will void the warranty if you shoot an arrow lighter than 5 grains per pound of draw weight. It is similar to a dry-fire in that the bow has to absorb more of the energy upon release with a lighter arrow. For this same reason, a bow shooting a heavier arrow is quiter because less energy is dissipated in the limbs, string, and riser.
In my state, WA, they have put a 6 grain per pound of draw weight minimum for hunting arrows. Most states just have a minimum draw weight though.
