Default Arrow drop.....or lack of?

I've been tinkering with getting my bow dialed in and have increased the draw weight about 3 times as I've conditioned the shooting muscles.

I don't have a way to measure the draw weight so I'm not 100% what it is but it has to be near 60lbs. I've noticed that I have very little difference in my shot patterns from 10/20/30 yards.

Using just one sight pin, at 10 yards, I'm about 4 inches high. At 20 yards it's still about an inch high.

At 30 yards it's about an inch low. Is this normal?

I'm certainly not shooting light arrows. My 27" carbon express arrows are 11.4gr/inch.....a hair over 400gr with the field point....not includeing the nock, vanes, and insert.

Yup, that's normal, at least my situation is similar. I shoot 60lbs. too, and if I used the same pin at all ranges I'm sure it would be like yours. The archin arrow flight iseven more drastic at longer distances since your arrow is slowing down. At 40 yards you're proabably4 in low and at 50 you could be as low as 9-10 inches, so long as you're still using the same pin.Despite Bowtech's catch-phrase, the arc in archerywill always be present, especially at long ranges.

Who cares whether it's normal or not... whatever 'normal' might be. You know your trajectory, and that's what is important. You know how to aim in order to hit center at anything between from 0 to 30 yards. Time to go hunting. Sic 'em.
