Default Recommend a release for me.

I need recommendations for a new release, I`m looking for a three finger style. I`m going to be using it for hunting primarilly, but I want to start 3-D shooting sometime soon. Thanks

See you on the water and in the woods.

Carter, Golden Key, Scott, and Copper John all make great releases. I have had great luck with the Scott original caliper and the Answer by Golden Key. I would say either one of those is a great hunting release. For target the old Scott Rope is hard to beat as is the Cascade.

You get used to a Cascade Model 8 and there is no looking back.

Scott mongoose or little goose are to beat. They have been around for years.

I have been using the Carter BK Target for years. I've got a new Just Cuz that I'm going to use next year for target and 3-D.

I've shot a Scott Lil' Goose for years and like it alot, BUT I tried a Golden Key Answer and fell in love with it. This is an awesome release with 3 different shooting modes. you can adjust the trigger travel and sensitivity as well as activate the anti-punch feature. This anti-punch feature makes it impossible to snap the trigger. This is the ultimate training aid for any form of target panic and to perfect proper back tension. It's a top qualty release that I cant wat to get in the field.

I have to second IL Cornfed. I had the TRU Loop Master and developed the worst case of target panic I have ever encountered with it. I got the GK Answer release and it really was the "Answer" I was looking for. In less than 2 sessions with it I had stopped punching the release and I am shooting a lot better with it.
