Default string silencers question?

i was wondering if there was a certain length string silencersshould be from the cams.

As far as I know there is no certain length for them. Ithink mine are about 4" from the cams. I'll have to measure them.

I put mine as close as I can to the cams, which is about 3 to 4 inches because of the serving. You should try them in different locations and see what works best on your set-up.

Same here. Least speed and energy reduction the farther away from the center of the string while still allowing you to somewhat benefit from the noise reduction.
