Default new release and new POI

For some reason my release decided to start letting go a half draw,a new way of surprise shooting! This release was like a Mongoose, only one side grips the string. My back up release is a caliper type gripper which I haven't shot for a long time.My back up release give me a point of impact about 3" right.I went and paper tuned and it shoots real fine just 3" right.Ever run into this?Ron

Default RE: new release and new POI

Yep...

The mongoose styles will usually shoot different than a rope or caliper style release. Although I love the mongoose style, they are easy to torque and not know it.

Also a release that has a rope commection from the head to strap will have MUCH less torque. They are hard to find these days, but I prefer them. Tru-ball just came out with one.
